Pulse & Presence

Reflections and practices to come back home to yourself.

 The Quiet Season

Hi reader,

As the days grow colder and the light fades earlier, this quieter season invites us inward. It’s a natural time to reflect—not to judge what has or hasn’t happened, but to gently notice what the year has shaped in you. Reflection can feel tender, of course, but it also creates space to ask a simple question: What do I want more of in my life now?

Even in a season known for release, there is room for renewal. If we zoom out a bit, we can see not just what has changed or fallen away, but also what’s opening. Maybe it’s a new connection, a creative adventure, or simply more room to just be present with what is.

Let this quiet stretch of time be an invitation to meet yourself again—to explore what’s shifting beneath the surface.

Below, you’ll find some practices to help you navigate this season with intention.

Pulse

How’s your heart today? Really - without judgment. Just notice.

Autumn Love Signs

Taking the time to notice how you are feeling seems deceptively simple, but it is probably one of the most supportive practices that you can do for yourself. The more you are able to be with and notice how you’re doing, the less likely unprocessed feelings will sneak up on you.

Presence

Gentle invitation to bring one hand to your heart and one hand to your belly. Inhale slowly. Exhale even slower. You may close your eyes if you feel safe enough to do so or just keep a soft gaze - your choice. Spend a few moments here and see what - if anything - shifts.

Reflection - Coming Home to Your Body

So many of us have been taught to abandon ourselves in times of stress. Over time, that self-abandonment can look like not knowing what we want, what we need, or even how we feel. I sometimes like to refer to this as “living from the neck up.” It becomes our default programming without us even realizing it.

But once we become aware of it, we can begin to shift. Your pulse holds the pattern of your lived story - and presence helps you rewrite the narrative. See if you can choose presence over performance and commit to practicing this time and time again.

This week, I invite you to reflect on:

  • When do I feel most connected to my body?

  • What rituals help me stay grounded?

In Case You Missed It

For Someone Who Could Use a Breath, Too

If this landed gently for you today, maybe it’ll land gently for someone else in your life. You can forward this note to a friend who might need a little reminder that rest is allowed.

Your breath is your rhythm. Your body is your home. You are already enough.

Until next time,
Stacey
